Dentist wants children to send Halloween candy to troops.


Volck, a Vandalia dentist, wants children to worry for their teeth and concurrently treat our troops abroad to a hint of Halloween.

On November two from four to 6:30 pm, he'll buy back Halloween candy at $1 per lb. at his office at 270 James Bohanon Drive in Vandalia. The money will be used to mail separate treat packages to soldiers overseas. Volck said youngsters also will get a free Firefly toothbrush that glows in the dark. "Another feature will be distribution of special cards for the children to pen notes or
